As IMPACT Percussion prepares for its 2027 season, we’re excited to share an important new chapter for our organization.
After more than a decade of providing young performers with opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve through the performing arts, IMPACT Percussion is now operating independently as a program of IMPACT Performing Arts, a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
This transition creates a strong foundation for the future of IMPACT Percussion while opening the door to new opportunities for our organization and the young people we serve.
As part of this next chapter, we’re excited to introduce the Board of Directors helping guide IMPACT Performing Arts forward. Together, they bring a strong connection to IMPACT and a commitment to our mission, our members, and our future.
William “Chase” Waller, President
Chase Waller co-founded IMPACT Percussion with Josh Peterson in 2014 and helped lead the organization through its formative years. He remained actively involved with IMPACT until relocating to the Atlanta area in 2019 and now returns to the organization as President of the IMPACT Performing Arts Board of Directors. His history with IMPACT gives him a unique perspective on where the organization began, how it has grown, and the opportunities ahead. Professionally, Chase serves as Director of Operations for Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, bringing extensive experience in operations, organizational leadership, and strategic growth to the Board.
Jesus Garcia, Vice President
Jesus Garcia first became involved with IMPACT as an instructor, teaching the ensemble from 2017–2019. He has remained a dedicated supporter of IMPACT and its mission in the years since. Jesus is the founder and owner of Silicon Valley Breaker & Control Inc., an electrical supply company based in San Jose, California. His experience as a business owner and longtime connection to IMPACT bring valuable perspective to the Board as the organization enters this new chapter.
Duncan Titus, Secretary/Treasurer
Duncan Titus joined IMPACT as a volunteer in 2022 before becoming part of the ensemble’s administrative team in 2023. A music educator, Duncan now serves as Band Director at Fruitland Middle School in Fruitland, Idaho. His experience with IMPACT and his work as an educator give him a strong understanding of the needs of performers, staff, and performing arts programs. He brings that perspective to his role on the IMPACT Performing Arts Board.
